Spain
This water park is Thai-themed. It’s in the Adeje region of Tenerife and lays claim to the Mai Thai, the world’s longest river. Its main claim to fame, however, is the tower of power. This is a slide with an 85 foot drop that ends in a tunnel which passes through a shark tank. It also features a wave pool with a sandy beach and nine foot high waves.
Caribe Aquatic Park
If you’re tired of the azure coastlines of Costa Dorada, the Caribe Aquatic Park may just be what you need. The brave at heart can take on the El Tifon, or typhoon, in this Caribbean themed park. Next door is the Port Aventura water park which has four hotels so stay the weekend and enjoy the rides.
Germany

A rain forest, tropical pools and beaches are just a few of the amenities you can expect to find here. This is the third largest building in the world in the heart of Bavaria about 60km from Berlin. The indoor water park can hold up to 8000 people. It has the standard slides, but also features a turbo slide with speeds of up to 70 km/hr
Switzerland
Alpamare
Alpamare is the largest covered water park in Europe. It’s close to Lake Zurich and includes a 295 foot lazy river ride as well as the standard slides and pools. The outdoor pool has underwater music.
France
This is a newly constructed water park. While it may not be the biggest in Europe, it certainly is the highest. There is accommodation on site and all sorts of rides are available. It’s open all year round so it works as both a summer and winter vacation spot.
Cyprus
Water world in Ayia Napa has a range of child friendly attractions. One of these is the Aeolos whirl pool, inspired by Mount Olympus.
Bonus – Atlantis the palm, in Dubai
This is a 42 acre aquaventure water park, not including the facility that allows visitors to swim with dolphins. It also has a record breaking aquarium in the hotel itself. Its main attraction is the Ziggurat, which is a temple like tower from which several slides start. The leap of faith is a tube ride that allows visitors to ride through a shark filled lagoon.
